Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Feedrick collects when you use the website and web app at feedrick.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We don't sell your information and we don't show ads.
1. Information we collect
Your account. Your email address, your name if you give it, and your password, which is stored only as a secure hash. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and use them only to create and run your account.
Your content. The videos, links, website addresses, brand details and instructions you give us, and what the Service makes from them: transcripts, clips, captions, images, videos and posts.
Connected social accounts. When you connect TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or another platform, the connection is handled by our publishing provider. We store the account's name or handle, an identifier, and the status of the posts you publish. We never see your social media passwords.
Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, billing status and the email on the payment. We never see or store your full card number.
Usage and device information. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, kept in server logs for security and troubleshooting. Our website analytics (Vercel Analytics) count page views without cookies and without identifying you.
Product analytics. We use PostHog to understand how people use Feedrick: the pages you visit, what you click, errors you run into and, if you accept cookies, recordings of your sessions so we can find what's confusing. Recordings hide everything you type. When you're signed in, these are linked to your account ID and email.
Messages to us. If you email support, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
2. How we use it
- To run the Service: process your videos and content, and make clips and posts.
- To publish or schedule posts to your connected accounts, only when you ask us to.
- To manage your plan, credits and payments.
- To answer support requests and send messages about your account, such as receipts and sign-in links.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse, for example by blocking sign-ups from throwaway email addresses.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it.
3. AI processing
To find clips and write posts, we send the parts of your content that a task needs, such as a transcript or the text of a web page, to AI models through OpenRouter, which routes requests to model providers such as Anthropic. When you add a website to Feedrick, we read its public pages to learn what you offer. Feedrick makes images through treg (with models such as Google Gemini) and videos through Kie (with models such as ByteDance Seedance); the AI influencers in those posts are AI-generated characters, not real people. Cloud video work runs on Modal. We don't use your content to train AI models.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers that run the Service for us, only for that purpose:
- Supabase: accounts, database and file storage
- Vercel: website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics
- PostHog (EU servers): product analytics, error reports and session recordings
- Modal: cloud video processing and post generation
- OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to: AI analysis and writing
- Kie and treg, and the model providers they route to: AI images and videos
- Post for Me: connecting social accounts and publishing posts
- Stripe: payments
- Google: sign-in with Google, if you choose it, and our email
When you publish a post, it goes to the platform you chose, and that platform's own privacy policy applies to it. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our users and the Service from fraud or abuse. If Feedrick is ever sold or merged, your information would move with it under this policy.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in. With your permission, PostHog also stores a cookie so we can see how visits continue across pages and over time, and record sessions. We ask on your first visit. If you decline, PostHog stores nothing in your browser and counts your visit anonymously, without recordings. To change your answer, clear this site's data in your browser and we'll ask again. We don't use advertising cookies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is open. Temporary copies of videos downloaded for processing are deleted once processing is done. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and content within 30 days. The only exception is records we must keep by law, such as payment records for tax.
7. Your choices and rights
You can disconnect social accounts at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export or delete your information, or to object to how we use it. To do any of these, email support@feedrick.com from the address on your account, and we'll reply within 30 days.
8. Security
We encrypt information in transit, limit who can access it, and keep payment and social account credentials with the providers built to hold them. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you without undue delay if a breach affects it.
9. Where your information is processed
Our providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
10. Children
Feedrick is for people aged 18 and over, as set out in our Terms of Use. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
