7 Best Arcads Alternatives for 2026 (Cheaper Options)

The 7 best Arcads alternatives for 2026, with October prices and cost per video: MakeUGC, Creatify, HeyGen, Feedrick and more, plus where Arcads still wins.

By FeedrickUpdated October 23, 20269 min read

Most people looking for Arcads alternatives want one of three things: a lower price, a price they can see before signing up, or a tool built for something other than paid ads. Arcads doesn't publish dollar prices, and third-party reviews report its Starter plan at about $110 a month for 10 talking-actor videos.

This guide compares seven alternatives with prices from their own pricing pages, as of October 2026. It says plainly where Arcads is still the better pick. One of the seven is Feedrick, which is our product; we've placed it where it fits, for organic social posts, not ad testing.

The short version:

  • Closest like-for-like: MakeUGC.
  • Cheapest way in, from a product link: Creatify.
  • Organic posts that publish themselves: Feedrick (our product).
  • Longer talking videos and translation: HeyGen.
  • Polished presenter videos: Synthesia. Editing on your phone: Captions. Real people: Billo.

Why people look for Arcads alternatives

Arcads is a capable tool. The reasons people shop around are mostly about price and fit:

  • The price is hidden. Arcads' help center says current prices are shown in the app. Fastlane's review (checked October 1, 2026) reports Starter at about $110 a month and Creator at about $220.
  • Credits stop and reset on the cheaper plans. Starter (8,000 credits) and Creator (16,000) stop generating at the monthly limit, and unused credits don't roll over. Rollover starts on Pro.
  • Short videos cost as much as long ones. An Arcads 1.0 talking-actor video costs 800 credits for anything up to two minutes. That's 10 videos on Starter, about $11 each at the reported price.
  • No free plan. There's a 72-hour trial with 1,000 credits, and it needs a card. If you don't cancel, the Starter plan starts automatically.
  • It's built for ads. Arcads' help center covers formatting ads for Meta and TikTok. We found nothing about scheduling or publishing organic posts to your own accounts.

Where Arcads still wins

Before you switch, be clear about what you'd give up. Our short Arcads review: it's ahead of most alternatives on three things.

  • Actor range and languages. The homepage advertises 1,000+ AI actors, and Arcads' FAQ says talking actors speak 74 languages, with 176 language and accent options for translation.
  • Testing tools. Its hook variations tools let you swap the opening, the headline or the actor on an ad that already works, and Workflows can run one script across 10 actors in 2 languages in one go.
  • Team and developer features on Pro and above: custom actors, free voice cloning, team seats and a public API.

If you run paid campaigns and test many scripted variations a week, Arcads is often the right tool, and the alternatives below are trade-offs rather than upgrades.

Arcads alternatives compared

Prices are the lowest monthly-billed price for a paid plan, then the yearly-billed equivalent, from each tool's pricing page as of October 2026. When you compare, look at five things: the price per finished video, whether there's a free plan, which formats you get, who writes the script, and whether the tool can post for you.

The 7 best Arcads alternatives, one by one

1. MakeUGC: the closest like-for-like

MakeUGC does what Arcads does, script to talking AI actor, for less. Its pricing page lists Starter at $59 a month billed monthly ($29 a month billed yearly) with 500 credits, Growth at $79 ($39 yearly) with 1,000 credits, and Pro at $149 ($79 yearly) with 2,000 to 5,000 credits. You can try any plan for $1. Every plan includes Product in Hand, Motion Control, batch mode, and API and MCP access.

Per video: MakeUGC's credit docs put a talking-actor video at 100 credits, with scripts up to 1,500 characters. Starter makes 5 a month (about $11.80 each billed monthly, $5.80 billed yearly). Growth makes 10 (about $7.90, or $3.90 yearly).

Watch out for: credits don't roll over, Starter exports at 480p or 720p only, and the $1 trial renews at the plan price unless you cancel. It's best for ad teams who like Arcads' workflow but want a published price and a lower cost per video.

2. Creatify: the cheapest way in, from a product link

Creatify turns a product link into a video ad. Its URL to Video tool reads links from Amazon, Shopify, the App Store, Google Play and others, then writes the script and picks the assets. The pricing page lists a free plan (10 credits a month, watermarked), Standard at $15 a month ($10 yearly) with 55 credits, Pro at $55 ($38 yearly) with 280 credits, and Max at $95 ($66 yearly) with 730 credits.

Per video: avatar videos and video ads cost 5 credits per 15 seconds, rounded up. So Standard makes 11 fifteen-second videos (about $1.36 each), and Pro makes 28 thirty-second ads (about $1.96 each). Pro adds 1,500 actors, 3 custom avatars, a competitor ad tracker and Ad Clone. Every paid plan lists an Ad Launcher for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin ad accounts.

Watch out for: credits expire after two months, Standard runs one generation at a time with a two-minute cap, and Creatify's refund policy says payments are final. Best for e-commerce brands and apps that want lots of short ads cheaply.

3. Feedrick (our product): best for founders who need organic posts

Feedrick is an AI social media agent, and it's ours. You paste your website or app link; it reads what you sell, who it's for, what they're tired of and what you can prove, in about a minute. Then it makes short-form posts in five formats: silent story videos (an AI influencer acts out a scene with on-screen text and music), memes, five-slide carousels, reaction + demo videos that cut to your own 9:16 product demo, and talking videos where an AI influencer says one line to camera.

You keep or skip each post in a review queue, and your choices shape the next batch. Kept posts are scheduled and published to your connected TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and Threads accounts. Pricing: Free (12 credits to start, then 5 a month, watermarked), Starter at $29 a month (100 credits, all seven platforms), Growth at $69 (280 credits, 3 brands). Videos cost 2 credits and photo posts 1, so Starter makes up to 50 videos, about $0.58 each.

Where it's the wrong pick: Feedrick doesn't use a script you write word for word, make long talking videos, clone voices, dub into other languages, run hook A/B tests or connect to ad accounts. If those are your job, Arcads, MakeUGC or Creatify fit better.

4. HeyGen: best for longer talking videos and translation

HeyGen is an avatar video platform with published prices and a free plan. Its pricing page lists Free (up to 3 watermarked videos a month, one minute each), Creator at $29 a month ($24 yearly) with 600 credits and videos up to 30 minutes, Pro from $49 with 1,000 credits and 4K export, and Business at $149 plus $20 per extra seat. Creator includes a custom video avatar of yourself and 175+ languages and dialects.

Per video: HeyGen's credit guide charges 16 credits a minute for Avatar IV with a photo look, 31 with a video look and 48 for Avatar V. So Creator covers about 37 minutes of Avatar IV photo-look video. Lip-synced translation costs 6 to 10 credits a minute.

Watch out for: rates can vary by account and region, Creator can't buy one-time credit top-ups, and Business features like SCORM export and LMS integrations show it serves training teams as much as marketers. Best for explainers, founder-style videos with your own digital twin, and localizing one video into many languages.

5. Synthesia: best for polished presenter videos

Synthesia makes studio-style avatar videos, closer to a presenter than a creator. Its pricing page lists a free Basic plan (10 minutes of video or dubbing, watermarked), Starter at $29 a month ($18 yearly) with up to about 12 minutes of video a month and 125+ avatars, and Pro at $89 ($64 yearly) with up to about 60 minutes, 180+ avatars and 5 personal avatars.

Watch out for: it's geared to explainers and training, so it won't look like a phone-shot creator video. Pick it for product walkthroughs and help content, not for TikTok-native ads.

6. Captions: best for editing on your phone

Captions is a video editor with AI features, including AI Creator, AI Ads and AI Twin. Its pricing page lists Max at $24.99 a month with 500 credits, which covers custom AI actors or a digital twin of you, and Frontier tiers from $69.99. The page notes that prices reflect iOS plans, so web pricing may differ.

Watch out for: it's an editor first, so you do more of the work. Best for creators and founders who already film themselves and want AI help editing and filling gaps.

7. Billo: best when you want real creators

Sometimes the right alternative to AI actors is real people. Billo is a creator marketing platform for UGC ads, organic posting and partnership ads, with a managed service option. Its pricing page redirects to a login, so prices aren't public; you'll need to sign up or book a demo to see them.

Watch out for: real creators mean briefs, shipping and waiting for footage. Best for physical products where a real person holding, using or trying on the item matters.

Arcads vs HeyGen and Creatify: quick verdicts

Arcads vs HeyGen. Arcads is built for ad variations: creator-style actors, hook swaps and batch Workflows. HeyGen is built for talking videos of any length, from a one-minute free video to 30 minutes on Creator, plus digital twins and translation. HeyGen also publishes its prices and has a free plan. Choose Arcads for ad testing at volume; choose HeyGen for explainers, founder videos and localization.

Creatify vs Arcads. Both make UGC-style ads and both can work from your website (Arcads through its Mark agent). Creatify is far cheaper to start, $15 a month or free, and adds a competitor ad tracker and an ad launcher. Arcads leans harder into scripted testing, with hook swaps, actor swaps and batch Workflows. Our Creatify alternatives guide has the full verdict.
