Instagram grid maker

Split one image into 3 to 12 posts that join up into a big picture on your profile, numbered in the order to post them. Free, no sign-up, and your image never leaves your device.

How to post a grid that lines up

  1. Pick an image with room to breathe. Each tile is also seen on its own in the feed, so avoid cutting faces or words across tiles.
  2. Choose the rows and shape. One row is 3 posts, four rows is 12. Match the tile shape to the grid on your own profile.
  3. Download the tiles. The files are numbered in posting order, so you don't have to work it out.
  4. Post them back to back. Start with the tile marked 1st and finish with the last one; unpin posts while you do.

Give each tile a caption that works alone, because most people meet one tile in their feed before they ever see your profile.

A grid is a moment. A feed is a habit.

A grid makes a strong first impression on your profile. Keeping the feed alive afterwards takes steady posts, and that's what Feedrick makes from your website: memes, carousels and UGC videos you can keep and schedule.

Questions

Good to know.

What is an Instagram grid post?

One picture split into several posts that line up on your profile to show the whole image. Profiles are three posts wide, so a grid is 3, 6, 9 or 12 posts.

In what order do I post the tiles?

Bottom right first, top left last. Instagram shows your newest post in the top-left corner, so posting in reverse puts every tile in its place. The tool numbers the tiles and names the files in that order.

Which tile shape should I pick?

Look at your own profile: if its grid shows tall rectangles, use 3:4 tiles (1,080 × 1,440 pixels); if it shows squares, use square tiles (1,080 × 1,080). The tool makes both.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is cut in your browser on your own device and the tiles are saved straight from it. Nothing is sent to Feedrick or anyone else.

Why did my picture shift on my profile?

Something sits in front of it: usually a pinned post, or another post published in between. Unpin posts while you publish the tiles, and post them one after another.

Keep the feed going after the grid.
